The Value Of A Good Haircut

I’ve now got my Citizen head count up to 19 and can start appointing them to my commercial buildings. I’ve just got enough Citizens appointed to my Supermarket to get that running and that means another potential revenue stream.

Stamina Points: One way a Supermarket earns revenue is by offering the ability to restoring the stamina of Citizen’s belonging to other players. It also enables you to restore the stamina of your own Citizens, meaning you save money on that, which does need to be done from time to time if you want to actively participant in the game. How many other players use this stamina top up and how much revenue can be generated, remains to be seen but I’ll check on that regularly and update everyone once I’ve got more information.

Haircuts and Glasses: The Supermarket I have also has a barbers that offers new hair styles to Citizens. I assume this is open to all players and it is something I can apply to my own Citizens if I choose to. Below are some of the options available.

The amount of influence points per ETH cost is actually pretty good compared to other ways of boosting your influence points. For example: If I wanted to add 7,000 influence points to my Supermarket it would cost around 0.27 ETH to do so, compared to adding 80,000 influence points (more than 10x as much) for a 0.064 ETH pink hair style. That said, I believe that upgrading buildings can also increase the functionality and earning potential of that building, whereas these hair styles (an glasses) seem to be just one-off transactions.

If you want to come on down for a nice cut and blow dry, check out the MegaCryptoPolis game here. If you are thinking of trying the game, now could be a good time as the ETH / USD rate is quite low compared to recent history and the MCP also has a few bonus offers on right now for new players.
