There are various options of properties to build when it comes to MegaCryptoPolis 3D and without any particular strategy in mind, I initially went for a range of different options. I decided on 3 residential properties, 2 apartments and 1 villa. I can’t remember the relative cost of each, as it was before I started to seriously track my activity, but the villa was certainly more expensive. Was it worth it?

Producing Citizens: In terms of my current focus, which is producing enough Citizens to man all the assets, it doesn’t seem that efficient. An apartment needs a minimum of 2 Citizens, 1 male and 1 female, to reproduce a new Citizen. A Villa however, need 6 Citizens and still only produces 1 Citizen at a time. So, the cost of buying and running the Villa is significantly more than an Apartment and if your main focus is producing new Citizens, then there is no value at all that I can see in having a Villa.
Influence and Other Goals: Influence points seems to be the name of the game in MCP 3d and the Villa does carry more influence points than an Apartment. However, as yet the influence points don’t really seem to be translating into any meaningful revenues, so the jury is still out on that. Also, you can upgrade an Apartment to increase the influence score, which may work out more cost effective than buying a Villa from the Outset.
It’s still early days in MCP land, so keep checking in as I discover more about the game and its earning potential.
